Frequently Asked Questions for how to add a corset back to a wedding dress corset! : r/Tailors Has anyone done mix Size:40W x 34L corset back dress alteration nav-325

How can I tell whether a skirt's pockets will be useful?

Side-seam pockets can be visually discreet, although their capacity depends on the actual construction. Patch pockets add visible detail, so consider whether their placement suits the outline you want.

What can I consider if a skirt clings to my underlayers?

Consider whether an added underlayer would create more bulk or warmth than you want. Check that the waistband is sitting in its intended position rather than pulling the fabric unevenly.

What should I confirm before ordering a skirt in a custom length?

Review additional charges associated with the selected alteration. Keep a written record of the exact measurement accepted by the seller.
